Fox + Flower

Story

Fox + Flower is a concrete art brand based in Calgary, Alberta. We love creating beautiful home accent pieces! We love the neutrality and beauty of simple concrete pieces, with black, white, and gold foil accents. We love them even more when they're filled with soy wax candles, and crackle with their wooden wick when they burn! We start every piece by mixing a fresh batch of concrete. Once the concrete has been poured and had time to set, it is taken out of the mold, and given time to cure. Each piece is then painted and finished to your color selections. Foil is applied by hand, making each piece truly unique. The final coat is a water-based concrete sealer, which helps to prevent staining. We adhere rubber feet to all of our pieces to help prevent surface scratching. When a Fox + Flower piece has a candle in it, the wax is melted in small batches, and mixed with phthalate-free fragrance oils. Wooden wicks are glued into each piece. The melted wax and fragrance are carefully, slowly poured into the containers, and allowed to set. A label with the scent on it is cut by hand, and fit over each wick. The candle is wrapped in generous layers of brown paper, and packed in its own individual box for shipping.
