Yoga, Meditation & Plant Dyeing Retreat
Join Sonja for a seasonally aligned weekend of yoga, meditation, foraging and natural plant dyeing. Throughout the weekend you will be infusing your intentions, curiosity and creativity into a garment that you will dye with seasonal plants. We will attune our body, breath and spirits to the elements of Fall, with yoga practices, forest walks and connecting with the abundance of this time, we will play with the colours that are provide and our meals will be infused with our foraged foods.
We will journey with vinyasa yoga and meditation in the mornings, take time with nature and forest bath, and explore pants. We will forage and gather plants, create dye pots, and explore the natural world of colour. You will be provided with a Zen Nomad Garment to dye and infuse with your high vibrational intentions and colour curiosity.
Comfortable, cozy accommodation at the space is included along with 6 meals. Meals will be whole food, plant based, nourishing and delicious and in harmony with the season.
Friday ~ 4 pm arrive and settle into your room
~ 5:30 / 6 pm dinner
~7 pm welcome circle, plant & dye talk about vibrational colour and it’s medicine.
~8:30 pm Yin Yoga with Sound Bath Savasana
Saturday ~ 7 am optional yoga & meditation ~ 8 am - 9am breakfast
~ 10 am - 12 pm Nature Walk and Plant Gathering
~ 12 pm - 1 pm Lunch
~ 2 pm - 5 pm This time will be spent preparing pots and testing colours.
~ 6 pm Dinner
~ 7 pm break, perhaps time to watch sunset at the beach
~ 9 pm Yin Yoga with Sounding
Sunday ~ 7 am optional yoga & meditation ~ 8 am - 9am breakfast
~ 10 am - 1 pm working with the dye pots and any nature wandering
~ 1 pm - 2 pm Lunch ~ 2 pm - 3 pm any final effort to be done with the dye pots and garments
~ 3 pm - 4 pm Closing
~ 4pm departures Energy Exchange ~
